Responsibilities of a CDSHELP Associate



Technical Skills/Knowledge


The CDSHELP Associate should have good analytical skills, judgement, organization, prioritization of work, time management, attention to detail, flexibility in adapting to changes in processes, techniques and scheduling priorities. The Associate should also assess business ethics, including following and supporting company and department practices, and demonstrate technical knowledge of the job, application of training and appropriate use of reference material and equipment.

Communication Skills


The CDSHELP Associate should demonstrate consistent and constructive oral and written communication in group and individual settings that is accurate, appropriate to the occacion, timely, balanced, concise, clear, and complete, to ensure shared understanding of information. He must also be receptive and responsive to input from others.

Responsibility and Dependability


The CDSHELP Associate should demonstrate availability, performance as a team member, taking initiative, demonstration of follow through, coordination of multiple tasks, timely and accurate completion of responsibilities, adjusting as needed to work volume, punctuality and attendance. He must also identify when a decision is required, gathering appropriate information and guidance from others, and then assessing the information gathered, evaluating cross-department, cross-site and internal/external impact.

Service Orientation/Attitude Towards Work, Supervisors/Team Leaders, Fellow Associates


The CDSHELP Associate should demonstrate responsiveness, cooperation, adaptability, development, and appropriate, consistent and constructive interaction with internal and external business associates. He should also be able to solicit input when appropriate and acknowledge and clarify different perspectives.
